Police are investigating a burglary at a storage building in Ka‘u.

Sometime between July 2 and July 7, the O Ka‘u Kakou storage building on Alanui Road in Punaluu was forcibly entered and several items were stolen.

Items taken include four 20-foot-by-20-foot gray, heavy-duty canvases along with metal fittings painted red, blue and yellow. Also taken were six 10-foot-by-10-foot pop-up tents with painted yellow markings and the letters “OKK” on the tent legs.
